About the service

Tyre and wheel work is planned around the vehicle type, axle and reported problem. We assess the tyre and rim before deciding whether a repair is suitable; not every damaged tyre can be repaired. Vibration and uneven wear may also involve other running-gear components, so we discuss the appropriate checks rather than assuming balancing will solve every problem.

What we inspect and repair

• Removing and fitting commercial-vehicle tyres within the agreed work scope.
• Balancing wheels and preparing tyre-to-rim contact surfaces.
• Checking tyre pressure, wear and air retention.
• Inspecting the damage and assessing whether the tyre is suitable for repair.

What to include in your enquiry

• Vehicle type, tyre size, number of wheels and affected axle.
• Whether you need tyre replacement, investigation of pressure loss or vibration checks.
• Photographs of damage and whether the tyre has been driven with low pressure.
