About the service

Electrical faults can appear as failed lighting, starting difficulties, poor charging or intermittent electronic problems. We investigate the cause by checking power supplies, connections and the operation of the affected system. A fault code helps direct the checks; it is not treated as automatic proof that a particular component needs replacement.

What we inspect and repair

• Reading and assessing control-unit, sensor and communication-network faults.
• Inspecting and repairing damaged wiring, contacts, connections and plugs.
• Testing the battery, starter, alternator and electrical current consumption.

• Vehicle details and a precise description of the equipment or function that fails.
• Whether the fault is constant or occurs in damp conditions, while driving or after starting.
• Fault codes and details of recently fitted equipment or repair work.
