About the service

Knocking noises, steering play, vibration and uneven tyre wear can have several causes. We inspect suspension and steering components, their connections and any leaks. After the inspection, we explain the findings and agree which parts require repair or replacement and whether further adjustment is needed.

What we inspect and repair

• Checking bushes, joints, springs, mountings and stabiliser components.
• Assessing shock absorbers, air suspension and air spring condition.
• Inspecting the steering mechanism, power assistance, rods, connections and leaks.
• Checking wheel alignment and assessing adjustment needs following repair work.

What to include in your enquiry

• Vehicle details, the affected axle and the side where the problem is noticed.
• Whether symptoms occur over bumps, when braking, in turns or at a particular speed.
• Details of tyre wear, previous repairs and any recent impact damage.
