About the service

If the air conditioning cools poorly or operates intermittently, we first discuss the symptoms and inspect the system. Adding refrigerant does not by itself repair a leak or a failed component. The required diagnosis, servicing, recharge and repair scope are agreed after assessing the system fitted to the particular vehicle.

What we inspect and repair

• Checking operation and pressure readings, and investigating possible leaks.
• Assessing the compressor, heat exchangers, fans and control system.
• Servicing and recharging refrigerant according to the vehicle's requirements.
• Assessing repair or replacement options for damaged pipes, connections and other components.

What to include in your enquiry

• Vehicle make, model, year and VIN.
• Whether cooling is absent, weak or stops under particular conditions.
• When the system was last recharged or repaired, and any unusual noises.
