DPF cleaning

GREENWAY SERVISS

About the service

DPF washing is a cleaning service, rather than automatic filter replacement or modification of the exhaust system. We assess the filter's condition and diagnostic symptoms before agreeing the work. Frequent regeneration or a fault code may also require checks of related sensors and engine operation; the particular findings determine whether cleaning is appropriate.

What we inspect and repair

• Assessing pressure readings, sensor operation and exhaust-system flow.
• Removing the filter and inspecting its condition before cleaning.
• Cleaning soot, ash and deposits, followed by drying and a flow check.
• Refitting the filter and assessing the diagnostic procedures required for the vehicle.

What to include in your enquiry

• Vehicle make, model, VIN and the filter part number, if known.
• Fault codes, regeneration frequency and any changes in engine operation.
• Whether the filter is still fitted or already removed, and any previous cleaning history.
