About the service

A truck loading platform depends on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components working together. If the platform lifts unevenly, moves slowly, fails to hold position or leaks, we inspect the relevant systems and controls. Repair options and required parts are discussed after assessing the fault and the design of the particular lift.

What we inspect and repair

• Inspecting the platform, hinges, supports, mountings and moving joints.
• Investigating leaks at hydraulic cylinders, hoses and connections.
• Assessing pump operation, pressure control and the hydraulic system.
• Checking control switches, sensors, wiring and safety functions.

What to include in your enquiry

• Vehicle details, lift make and model, or a photograph of its identification plate.
• The stage of movement affected and whether the fault occurs loaded or unloaded.
• Photographs of leakage or damage and information about previous repairs.
