Project in detail: Driven by enthusiasm, on 28.05.2024 we bought a rather tired Volvo FM7 box truck at a low price. Remarkably, its roadworthiness certificate was still valid for another month, although it appeared to have only two options: extensive restoration or the end of its working life. We decided to take the risk. On 3 July, the revitalised truck set off on its first run around Riga.

- Front and rear wheel trims fitted

- Front fog lamps fitted
- Exhaust section replaced, from the engine to the silencer
- Cab blower fan replaced
- Upper front marker lights fitted to the cargo body
- Cab interior deep-cleaned
- Cargo body painted
- Tail lift and chassis painted
- Rear tyres replaced
- Oil levels checked and topped up in the axle and gearbox
- All assemblies lubricated; damaged grease nipples replaced
- Reversing camera installed
- Power-steering hydraulic filter replaced
- Toolbox locks replaced
- Right-hand bonnet gas strut replaced
- Tachograph calibrated
